Homemade Pate with port & redcurrant sauce and homemade oatcakes.

Winter vegetable soup with a homemade cheese scone.

Roast leg of Lamb with seasonal vegetables, roast potatoes and a minted lamb gravy.

Slow braised beef & Guinness casserole with herb dumplings.

Baked Salmon en croute with a garlic mushroom & prawn sauce.

Homemade sticky toffee pudding with toffee sauce & whipped cream.

Apple and winter fruit crumble with Vanilla custard.

Steak & Seafood night

22nd February 2008

We are now taking bookings for our steak & seafood night.
The price is £30.00 per couple including a bottle of house wine.



10 oz Rump steak with garlic Crevettes, salad and chips.

Halibut steak with buttered leeks, prawns & almonds served with salad and roast new potatoes.

8 oz Rib eye steak with mushrooms, tomato, onion rings, salad or chips.

a choice of either Port & stilton or peppercorn sauce with the steaks.

Seabass fillet with caesar salad and herb roasted potatoes.

Apple and blueberry crumble with vanilla custard.

Creme brulee with shortbread finger and sweet cranberry compote.

There will be a new menu from March 1st 2008 and we are doing a full roast Sunday lunch on Mothering Sunday in March. Please let us know if you would like to book a table for this.
